Something to Smile About

Did you know that 70 percent of American adults are missing a tooth? Tooth loss is common and happens as a result of aging, injury, poor oral hygiene, chronic health conditions and genetic health factors that impact the teeth. No matter the reason, losing a tooth; having decayed, damaged, or stained teeth; and having a crossbite, underbite or overbite can cause many people to feel self-conscious about their smile. Many of these individuals turn to cosmetic dentistry to restore their smiles.

Next-Level Smiles

But, while cosmetic dental treatments such as porcelain veneers, tooth whitening and restorations such as dental bridges and crowns can help improve your smile's appearance, we can help you take your smile to the next level: beautiful and healthy.

Depending on the severity or complexity of your dental problems, treatments may include dental crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, Growth Guided Appliances and controlled arch orthodontics to restore your smile. Controlled arch orthodontics is an alternative to traditional orthodontics. Instead of working to straighten the teeth in a potentially narrow space, our approach first addresses upper jaw development problems and tooth spacing issues and then moves the teeth to give you the smile you desire.

We offer tooth replacement and other cosmetic dental solutions to help restore your smile:

Dental bridges. A dental bridge is a type of restoration that fills in the gap created by missing teeth, preventing complications and future problems. Dental bridges made up of two or more crowns anchored to the teeth on either side of the gap, with an artificial tooth in the middle. These crowns can be made from gold, metal alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are ideal restoration options for patients missing just one or two teeth.

Dental crowns. Dental crowns are tooth-shaped fixed prosthetics that cover the entire visible portion of the tooth over the gum line. Crowns are used to restore a tooth's shape, size, strength and appearance, and are a popular dental-restoration option for patients who want to restore their smile's appearance and function.

Dental crowns are ideal for:

Covering a severely stained or oddly shaped tooth when porcelain veneers are not an option
Serving as the restoration, or replacement tooth, after dental implant surgery
Reinforcing a cracked or broken tooth
Protecting and restoring function to a tooth that has undergone root canal therapy
Covering enamel damage
Anchoring a traditional dental bridge

Porcelain veneers. Porcelain veneers are very thin, custom-made porcelain shells designed to cover the front surface of your teeth to improve your smile’s appearance.
Porcelain veneers are bonded to the front of your teeth and can change their color, shape, size or length. This leaves the underlying structure of your tooth intact while providing a clean, bright, natural-looking new surface to your smile.

Porcelain veneers are a safe, effective solution for resolving many common cosmetic dental problems, including:

Deep or severe stains, including those resistant to tooth-whitening procedures
Teeth with visible cracks, pitting and other kinds of surface damage
Crooked teeth
Disproportionately sized or shaped teeth
Misshapen teeth
Gaps between teeth

Full and partial dentures. Unlike fixed tooth-replacement options like dental implants and bridges, dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth and gum tissue. There are two kinds of dentures available: full and partial. Partial dentures are used when some of the patient’s natural teeth remain, while full dentures are used when all the patient’s teeth are missing. Ask us about our Ageless Dentures!
